#224: Nantucket Skies

Here are four shots of the sky
taken along the Sconset/Polpis bike loop:
Sesachacha Pond
Pronounced sack-uh-chuh.
Clear skies over Sankaty Light
Cloudy over the mid-island moors.
See how tidily the deer trim our cedars.
We call them lollipop trees.
Marsh hawk hunting grounds,
doesn’t it look like the African veldt?
Getting outside into God’s creation expands the soul.
Big skies are good for making life’s troubles seem smaller.
Not smaller, less personal. God takes care of all this,
He can handle my struggles too.
