#251: Nantucket Half Marathon

This morning I was getting ready to teach
Sunday School while David and Tobias were
getting ready to run a half marathon.
Usually we have to go off-island to get to a race.
This one began at the end of our street:
At the Lighthouse School
 Warming up before the race
They’re off!
And I’m off to Sunday School and church.
When I got back home:
Two hours and eight minutes. Woo-hoo!
One hour and fifty-nine minutes. Naptime.
The island is a sunny 80 degrees today.
David’s now at the fish market and Tobe’s
is picking grapes.
I’m off to put the Three Sisters garden to bed.
‘This is the day that the Lord has made,
we will rejoice and be glad in it.’
