On the grayest days of the Gray Lady’s winter, sushi is just the thing for supper.
As we make sushi more than most folk, we have a rice cooker. So cook up the rice, add some seasoned rice vinegar, matchstick your spring onions, carrots, cucumbers,
asparagus, and avocado, slice up the salmon and tuna, pass your nori over flame and you’re ready to roll.
Sushi making is a group effort. Perfect for families. Especially families with vegetarians.
We all work together then sit down to a feast.
A feast of color, flavor, texture and family time.
Praise be to God for His good gifts.
